Dripping Springs Sports Club had ambitious plans to create a category-defining third space for young athletes, families, and the broader community to gather, train, and connect. They needed an all-star brand identity that could grow with them now and into the future.

Challenge

A new brand for a new kind of sports club

Dripping Springs Sports Club was offering more than any other gym in the area, not only from a facilities standpoint but also from a community-building angle. With professional-level equipment and programming to suit serious student athletes, their space was also designed to give the community a place to gather, connect, and train together.

DSSC needed a brand identity that set them apart, could flex to suit all their different territories and audiences, and was built to grow with them as they continued to expand.

We did extensive research into competitors in the category and worked with dripping springs to define what made them different and how to own it. We landed on a core brand identity that was refined enough to suit their professional-grade facilities while staying friendly enough to reach families, young athletes, and community members seeking a place to gather. We brought this direction to life with a suite of core brand elements and a right-sized style guide. Then we designed a new website and social strategy to start their brand off strong.
